Sensor Tower recently published a report on the popularity of Netflix’s mobile games. Netflix Games launched in November of last year and according to this recent report, they have generated an impressive 13 million downloads globally.
The most popular month for the platform was December 2021, which had 2.3 million downloads. Incidentally, this is also the month Netflix’s second-most popular game launched, Asphalt Xtreme. This racing title is exclusive to the streaming service following its shutdown on other mobile stores last September.
To date, Netflix has published 24 mobile titles. These include exclusive IP tie-ins, new titles and updated re-releases of older games. It follows on from its previous releases of interactive TV series like Bandersnatch, Minecraft: Story Mode, and the more recent Trivia Quest.
The company recently unveiled a string of new titles it’s set to publish in future, including The Queen’s Gambit Chess, Shadow and Bone: Destinies, and Too Hot To Handle. All of which have an associated Netflix series.
