Pudgy Penguins NFT project recently announced they will be using IPs to make physical toys. The Pudgy Penguins Lineup will feature select NFTs released as toys, licensed directly from the community.
The tweet from Pudgy Penguins official Twitter account claims that the “in real life” (IRL) toy lineup is one of the upcoming instances where the Pudgy Penguins will allow web2 to be a part of its web3 services. Moreover, the lineup will supposedly expand to include other NFTs in the future.
As a result, the sales of the Pudgy Penguins NFTs saw a considerable spike, and the collection acquired the eighth position on OpenSea’s daily top NFTs ranking, surpassing the likes of Azuki, Goblintown, BAKC, and Doodles – at the time of reporting.
