OneFootball, the world’s largest football media platform, just announced a global partnership with top five football league Lega Serie A to market officially licensed digital collectibles from the league, including its Coppa Italia tournament and Supercoppa Italiana.
The “digital video moments” will launch on Aera by OneFootball. OneFootball is a web3 marketplace built on the Flow blockchain. Its community apparently has around 100 million monthly active users. These users will now have access to over 1,300 “new and unique moments generated in the upcoming Lega Serie A season”. Moreover, fans will also have the opportunity to “purchase and own hundreds of iconic moments from Serie A’s historical archives in the form of NFTs”.
The first product of the digital collectible series was revealed on August 1st. And the early access drop is planned for August 29th, with the general release on September 5th. Fans can now pre-register via the Aera by OneFootball marketplace.
