DOGAMÍ completed its $14 million seed round with a $7 million seed extension. Participants in the seed extension included the VC firm XAnge, French public investment bank Bpifrance and Wagram Capital. Singapore-based Blockchain Founders Fund also joined the extension round. This fundraising will apparently enable DOGAMÍ to expand its range of web3 games for mainstream audiences.
In January 2022, DOGAMÍ raised the initial $6M from industry leaders such as Ubisoft, Animoca Brands, The Sandbox co-founders, Draper Goren Holm, Tezos, GSR, and other strategic investors. With the initial investment, DOGAMÍ launched and sold 12,000 NFTs dog avatars and partnered with apparel brand, GAP, to sell 12,000 NFTs of canine accessories. DOGAMÍ’s community consists of over 200,000 members from over 80 countries known as “Dogamers.”
Co-Founded in mid-2021 by Max Stöckl, Adrien Magdelaine, Kristofer D. Penseyres and Bilal El Alamy, DOGAMÍ is supported by a team of 40 employees including Art Director Gregory Magadoux, previously from Ubisoft.
