The Neopets Metaverse is a blockchain game on Solana, based on Neopets Classic. Neopets Classic is a virtual pet website where users can personalize their pets as they collect, purchase, and trade items – all while taking part in numerous games and activities. Launched in 1999, Neopets became part of the JumpStart Games family in April 2014.
The web3 Neopets Metaverse will be a free-to-play game, with play-and-earn mechanics. In celebration of the festive season, Neopets is holding a series of special holiday events and giveaways in addition to releasing a new mobile game. They also announced a major, upcoming, winter update for their Neopets alpha.
Faerie’s Hope is the new mobile game in the Neopets Metaverse. Scheduled for release on December 15th, Faerie’s Hope is a match 3-style game.
