The first web3 game to launch from BoomLand – “Hunters On-Chain” – sells out in 18 seconds. Hunters On-Chain is an adaptation of the successful action RPG “Hunt Royale,” with over 6 million downloads and an active community of players.
BoomLand and Polygon Studios announced a partnership back in June of last year. They are working together to bring 33 million users to the web3 gaming world. BoomLand was one of the first web3 publishing gaming platforms and play-to-earn ecosystems being built on Polygon’s Supernet technology.
BoomLand was founded as a web3 gaming platform, focused on publishing games in partnership with its initial content provider, BoomBit. BoomBit is considered one of the fastest-growing mobile gaming studios in the world, with 33 million monthly active users, 200+ games published, and over 1 billion downloads to date.
Hannibal Soares, CEO of BoomLand, commented:
“BoomLand is designed to evolve gaming experiences into a Web3 format that fosters a player-first economy. By building on our own dedicated chain, we’re able to abstract the complexities of blockchain while still providing the core benefits such as verifiable digital ownership, secondary markets, and Play And Earn rewards.”
