Mastercard and Xsolla partner to collaborate on frictionless and secure payments for gamers. The partnership will combine Mastercard’s technology, network-level expertise, global scale, and trusted connections with Xsolla’s platform to create customizable and more accessible payment experiences for players, developers, and creators. This will apparently include enhanced checkout experiences using credit card loyalty points, simple in-game currency gifting, and improved creator payout processes.
Blake Rosenthal is the executive vice president of fintech solutions at Mastercard. Berkley Egenes is the chief marketing officer at Xsolla. The two confirmed that Xsolla and Mastercard will demonstrate the Pay with Points solution at the 2023 Game Developers Conference in San Francisco from March 21-24, 2023.
