N3twork Studios’ next game in the Legendary franchise is Legendary: Heroes Unchained. The game is described as a hero-collecting RPG. Legendary: Heroes Unchained is a play-and-earn game built for web3 gamers. N3twork Studios is said to be one of the main players at the forefront of blockchain games.
N3twork Studios announced earlier last year that they have successfully raised $46 million for their Series A funding round. RE3W and Game Fund covered this story in a previous news report. The Series A round was led by Griffin Gaming Partners, with additional participation from Kleiner Perkins, Galaxy Interactive, Korean Investment Partners, Floodgate, and LLL Capital.
Matt Ricchetti is President and Neil Young is Founder and CEO at N3twork Studios. They stated in a press release that the funding went towards developing and producing its first two web3 game titles, “Legendary: Heroes Unchained” and “Triumph”. Both of these have been focussing on the integration of cryptocurrency and web3 technologies in a new era for play-to-earn blockchain gaming.
