Animoca Brands and Manga Productions, the leading animations, comics, and games production company in the Middle East, have announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for a strategic partnership. The two will apparently be collaborating on a range of initiatives to activate Manga Productions’ unique content in the Web3 ecosystem, grow the regional blockchain industry, and facilitate the cross-access of intellectual properties.
The Sandbox also announced the acquisition of game development studio Sviper. Sviper is led by CEO Ole Schaper and chief product officer Mark Buchholz. The team at Sviper has over 25 years of experience working with well-known brands in mobile, PC, and multiplayer gaming. Sviper has been collaborating with The Sandbox for over a year and is fully integrated into the platform’s ecosystem.
