Earth From Another Sun (EFAS) raised $4.5 million in a funding round last July. The funding went towards developing its web3 space conquest game. The funding came from Solana Ventures and Lightspeed Venture Partners – Moritz Baier-Lentz is the newest addition.
Freeman Fan is the founder and CEO of Multiverse, a video game studio with a string of successful releases such as Seeking Dawn and Reveries: Dream Flight. Earth From Another Sun (EFAS) is his newest project in development.
EFAS is described as an action-packed first-person shooter experience in a multiplayer “living, breathing galaxy” with 1,000 troop armies fighting on a battlefield. EFAS apparently already has over ten thousand paying players after three and a half years of development. EFAS is built by a team of game veterans from the likes of Riot Games, Gameloft, Disney Interactive, Kylotonn, IGG, and Perfect World.
