Atari reveals new trailer for its Web3 Initiative – called “AtariX” and teases Lego partnership
AtariX is described as an initiative that “consolidates Atari’s blockchain interests into a unified operation that is wholly controlled by Atari”. In announcing AtariX last year (2022) Atari reaffirmed its commitment to the blockchain and its belief that blockchain is a crucial element of Atari’s future business and strategy.
Within AtariX, the Company is apparently working on the creation of a new branded token. Atari announced they have entered into an agreement with NiftyLabs to be the token project’s primary developer.
Wade Rosen, Chairman and CEO of Atari, made the following statement in a press release:
“We believe that blockchain will continue to grow to be a significant part of our business, and will create new ways for us to interact and collaborate with partners, players, and fans of our brand. Atari X is where we will harness all of our energy and creativity related to blockchain and build out an exciting Web3 ecosystem for our community.”
