Snapchat has revealed its new Snapchat AR experiences that will apparently enable users to interact with virtual objects, characters, and scenes in real-life environments, making the content more immersive and interactive. The new AR features include “Multi-Body Tracking,” “Object Scanning,” and “Hand Gesture Recognition.”
The latest AR technology advancements are said to be a signal of the company’s commitment to their Snap Metaverse. The company says that the introduction of these new AR experiences their audience engagement is likely to increase, making it a more attractive platform for advertisers. Snapchat plans to expand its product offerings into e-commerce, allowing brands to sell virtual and physical products directly within the app.
