Bitcoin gaming startup, ZEBEDEE is integrating MoonPay to improve crypto payments for web3 gamers. The Bitcoin gaming wallet is now available via mobile apps and desktop browser extensions. It will let U.S. clients purchase Bitcoin through MoonPay using a credit or debit card.
Notably, ZEBEDEE raised $11.5 million in funding late last year. The funding round was led by VC firm Lakestar. MoonPay also had a successful funding round last year, raising $555 million in November that left the firm valued at $3.4 billion.
In the future, ZEBEDEE is planning to add more countries to its platform as they grow globally. They also have stated that they are planning to let users sell Bitcoin through MoonPay in exchange for fiat currency. The company aims to make it easier for individuals who earn Bitcoin playing games to convert it into their local currency. This integration is a great example of the rapid expansion of web 3 gaming and the new model of “play-to-earn”.
