The Weeknd has confirmed that he will be launching various NFT collections for his upcoming tour: After Hours ‘Til Dawn. The well-known crypto exchange platform Binance will be sponsoring the famous musician as he integrates further into web3. The partnership will apparently feature multiple NFT drops and a $2 million donation to the artist’s XO Humanitarian Fund.
Binance will be working with the Toronto-based HXOUSE community incubator to develop the NFT collection around the tour, along with co-branded merchandise. Attendees of the concerts will receive a virtual ticket stub that can be redeemed for commemorative NFTs.
As part of the partnership, Binance will donate $2 million to the XO Humanitarian Fund, which The Weeknd formed earlier this year in his role as a United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) Global Goodwill Ambassador.
