Floor will offer users NFT portfolio tracking, real-time price alerts, live activity for collections and multi-wallet support – with more features in the pipeline. The Floor iOS and Android app is currently in closed beta for a small community of token holders.
The company states that their mission is to make “NFTs more understandable & accessible” to the masses. They believe that NFTs represent the”future of digital ownership, and can create a more equitable future”.
Floor was launched in October of 2021, the company was founded by CEO Chris Maddern, who previously led the mobile business at Venmo. Floors’ Chief Operating Officer (COO) is Christine Brown, who recently left Robinhood to join the company.
Floor just announced that they have raised $8 million in Series A funding round led by 6th Man Ventures, the venture capital firm directed by The Block founder Mike Dudas. Other participants in the round include B Capital, Worklife Ventures, Collab+Currency, Hannah Grey, Crypto.com, Exponent Capital and Eberg Capital, among others.
