Well-known video game retailer GameStop announced on Twitter the official launch of its brand new Ethereum-based NFT marketplace to go along with its web3 wallet. The wallet, now downloadable from their website, will allow users to store, send and receive crypto and NFTs. The wallet will also enable gamers to send and receive in-game assets without having to leave their web browsers.
GameStop had announced that it was launching its own unique NFT marketplace last year – it is finally gone live. Immutable X and GameStop partnered to create the marketplace, which has been built on the Ethereum blockchain. GameStop and Immutable X also recently launched a $100 million token grant fund to bring game developers onto the marketplace.
