Gala Film Nodes are now available for purchase with “Watch-to-Earn” features coming soon. Nodes are the foundation of Gala Film’s decentralized entertainment ecosystem. By owning and operating a Film Node license, individuals can support the hosting of content across Gala Film and receive rewards for their contributions. Every title that goes live on Gala Film will include elements of digital content that fans can own as NFTs. Until the ecosystem goes live later this year, for operating a node holders can receive $POPCORN.
Nodes can be purchased with $GALA or $ETH. The Gala Film Node software can be installed and run on Windows, Mac, and Ubuntu. To receive rewards individuals will need to operate their node daily so it’s available to the network.
