Earlier this year Animoca Brands acquired 70% of Darewise Entertainment, an indie game company. Darewise Entertainment is the web3 game studio creating “Life Beyond” – a socio-tech metaverse within a play-to-earn MMO title.
They also recently announced a partnership with the leading concept art developer and publisher of iconic NFTs for video game art – Concept Art House. As part of the partnership, the two companies are working closely in order to create an NFT collection, with “deeper game utility” for Life Beyond.
Life Beyond is hoping to be a triple-A video game, which leverages web3 and Unreal Engine 5. Described as a free-to-play, massively multiplayer experience, new players will be tasked with exploring an alien world, battling enemy forces while building a new society.
Last week, they announced their Open Alpha Content Release #1 Updates – with new missions, weapons, outfits, and news about the community goals.
