Gala Games have released a new promo trailer for “Battlestar Galactica Eternity”, their upcoming 4x Strategy MMO. The game is being developed by Revolving Games in collaboration with Gala Games, Universal Games, and Digital Platforms.
Originally debuting as “Project Saturn” at Galaverse, the game is said to take place within the world of the re-imagined TV series that aired for four seasons from 2003–2004 on Syfy. The game is described as a 4X Strategy MMO.
4X (Explore, Expand, Exploit, Exterminate) is a subgenre of strategy-based computer and board games and includes both turn-based and real-time strategy titles. The gameplay is going to involve building an empire. Emphasis is placed upon economic and technological development, as well as a range of military and non-military routes to supremacy.
