Anything World has revealed a $7.5 million funding round for its AI-based animation system. The main investors included Acrew Capital, Alumni Ventures, and Warner Music Group. Other investors participating are NGC Ventures, Supernode Ventures, GameTech Ventures, and GFR Fund. The new capital will apparently be used to help expand the team, and launch its new high-fidelity animation system.
Anything World is a London-based company and Gordon Midwood currently sits as CEO. Gordon announced that the company is launching its high-fidelity 3D animation system that enables rigging and animations for any 3D model. The system is being launched in stages with its first version available now. He also disclosed in a press release that its service is coming to Epic Games’ Unreal Engine in December of this year, 2022.
Gordon Midwood, CEO, stated:
“These developments help with the mission to lower the barriers to creativity in 3D, making everyone a content creator. It means ever more people will have access to their tools for making better-animated videos using industry-standard formats.”
