Royal Match is a free-to-play game with thousands of levels and many areas where King Robert needs help restoring the Royal Castle’s former glory. In under two years, Royal Match has apparently passed $600 million in lifetime revenue and 70 million all-time downloads.
Dream Games was founded by Peak alumni Soner Aydemir, Hakan Sağlam, Eren Şengül, İkbal Namlı, and Serdar Yılmaz. Since forming in 2019, the Turkish studio has raised funding very quickly: $7.5 million in November 2019, $50 million in March 2021, another $155 million in June 2021, and $255 million in January 2022. That most recent Series C investment valued the company at $2.75 billion.
Royal Match was the 21st top-grossing mobile game of 2022. It earned just under $428 million last calendar year, which ranked it just below State of Survival and Gardenscapes, and ahead of Puzzle & Dragons, Lineage M, and Evony: The King’s Return.
