Muus Collective recently raised $5 million in a new funding round. Griffin Gaming Partners led the round, and Emily Wang (managing director at LionTree and Griffin Gaming Partners) apparently helped get the startup off the ground. The fashion gaming startup also revealed a new partnership with fashion and beauty firm Revolve Group to bring web3 games to fashion consumers.
Muus Collective has just added three women as advisers: Paris Hilton, CEO of 11:11 Media. Geetanjali Dhillon, marketing strategist for global companies. Sabrina Kay, CEO of Fremont Private Investments.
Muus Collective was founded by Sarah Fuchs, who has more than 20 years of experience building, operating, and growing successful game studios. She recently served as vice president and general manager of Covet Fashion, the top fashion mobile gaming platform. She also led production on The Sims Mobile and served as a producer for many PC and console titles at Activision, Maxis, and Electronic Arts. Sarah Fuchs is passionate about making space for female creators and creating products for diverse audiences.
