Alaska Gold Rush is “a free-to-play metaverse mining/adventure RPG” being developed by Baked Games on Polygon. Players get to mine for gold in 3D environments featuring animal wildlife and other dangers to face in FPS gameplay.

Gala said v2 tokens are part of an ongoing upgrade to the Gala smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain. The upgrade is designed to make Gala more secure and will introduce burn mechanisms, which may make the tokens more valuable in the future.

The platform will reward contributors to its ecosystem, including game developers and users, through its native token and the redistribution of shares of its revenue back to the contributors through its decentralized revenue distribution protocol.

The launch of the MetaMask SDK in the Unity Asset Store is significant for game developers. Unity is one of the most widely used game engines in the world. The MetaMask SDK will allow developers to connect their games to the MetaMask web3 wallet. Thus, enabling players to interact with web3-enabled features within the game itself. This means that players can use their MetaMask web3 wallet to buy and sell in-game items, participate in decentralized finance (DeFi) games, and more.

The Aptos protocol is a layer 1 blockchain with a high level of scalability. This allows developers to build massive consumer-facing applications like blockchain games and decentralized social networks.
The program will take 12 weeks in Palo Alto, CA. Applications for the first cohort of projects are currently ongoing and will close in mid-April. Participants will receive mentorship, education, and $100,000 in funding. The first cohort is scheduled will participate in person from May 2023.

Reddit’s massive NFT mint over the past two months comes ahead of the company’s upcoming NFT offer in collaboration with the National Football League (NFL). The company announced Super Bowl-themed NFTs for the two finalists competing for the trophy. The custom-designed football avatars dress in the colors of the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.
The company has minted 500 thousand limited-edition Super Bowl LVII Collectible Avatars, which went live on February 6th. Each fan will have an opportunity to choose one free avatar NFT before the Super Bowl event on February 13th.
