Josh Neuman, Co-Founder and CEO of Melon, stated:
“We’re thrilled to combine forces with Super League and expand upon an ambitious creative and strategic vision shared by both companies. There is no one size fits all for brands and IP owners entering the space. With Super League and Melon operating as an integrated company, we can provide brands with the full spectrum of crawl, walk, and run alternatives designed to achieve targeted business objectives. We now have best-in-class execution capabilities at all levels under one roof, with the infrastructure to scale far beyond what we thought was possible.”
Ann Hand, chair and CEO of Super League, stated:
“Together, Melon and Super League have an integrated tech and capability backbone that applies to Minecraft, Roblox, and Fortnite. This backbone is working in other virtual engines too. Because of this backbone, we’re starting to change the conversations we’re having with brands. Instead of just being a marketing solution, we help brands reach their hard-to-capture audiences. Now, we’re starting to show them how this can apply to their forward digital strategy,” Hand said. “Brands look to Super League’s solutions so they can have a more immersive and engaging relationship with consumers on this new marketing channel.”
Smashverse is taking advantage of the growing battle arena genre that has been dominated by FPS games like Fortnite. Melee combat battle arena games have been overlooked by the market and are set to become the next growth opportunity in gaming.

Okay Bears consists of 10,000 “well-dressed” bears sold as pfp NFTs. The project apparently made $18 million in sales within 24 hours of its April 2022 launch on the NFT marketplace Magic Eden. Co-founded by graphic designer Kais and former engineer Suby, the project has promised merchandise drops, live events, and brand collaborations for its holders.
IMG has previously worked on licensing deals with other youth-focused brands like Fortnite, Lego, and Angry Birds. Bruno Maglione, president of licensing at IMG, said that the Okay Bears’ “brand message and values” will be reflected in future creative collaborations and products.

The creative strategy bringing Construct:10061 into Fortnite was led by Metavision. They have described the project as a “one-of-a-kind design innovation experience that blends physical and virtual worlds”. They also stated that the hope is to “reimagine” the way physical products are designed in real life and then used in the metaverse for web3 gaming communities.
Centered on Timberland’s Construct:10061 program, the partnership will bring Fortnite players and Timberland footwear fans into various playable trails. “The Timberland Parkour Trails” will be a set of immersive gaming experiences that takes place on custom Fortnite islands featuring the Arctic, Desert, and Forest biomes. Players will be invited to wear the Construct:10061 “Metaboots” designed for each of the different trails.
The Construct:10061 Fortnite experience is launching at Timberland’s flagship Orefici11 store during Milan Design Week. Guests will be able to try on physical prototypes, witness live gameplay, and participate in real-time as a fifth “Metaboot” is created in Fortnite.
