Players get to choose between a number of Tank Bodies and Weapons in the garage, then battle it out in one of the many Spider Tanks arena maps. Individuals will be able to play with a small group of close friends or test their skills in high-stakes competitions.
Spider Tanks is describing itself as the first web3 play-to-earn esport genre available on the blockchain. Users are able to purchase fully tradable Weapons, Tanks, and Bodies in the Spider Tanks store for advantages to the upgrade cycle, rarity head starts, and more.
The game has three types of battles:
– Team Deathmatch: Two teams of three players participate, the task is to destroy as many tanks of the opponent for a certain period of time.
– Capture the Chicken: Team members must collect more chickens than the opposing team.
– Capture the Flag: A classic multiplayer mode. Capture the flag at the enemy base and deliver it to the player’s own base.

Cheetos now has its own metaverse experience game inside Meta’s Horizon Worlds. The new Cheetos world is celebrating Halloween, Cheetos, and the metaverse all in one big event. The world is exclusively available inside Meta Horizon Worlds on Meta Quest 2 virtual reality headset. Here, fans of Cheetos can take part in a new game.
In the game, tasks will be available all over Chesterville in the Cheetos metaverse world. Players will be able to earn points on a ‘Mischief Meter’ and other in-game power-up methods. Some mischief will include covering houses in “Cheeto-fied Paper Towels and smashing gooey Box of Bones Cheetos mac ‘n cheese-filled pumpkins”. The goal of the Cheetos metaverse game is to gain enough points to access the spooky mansion atop Cheetos Hill.

Coca-Cola’s announcement went on to say that this new collectible features “a design inspired by the bubbles inside a Coke bottle, as well as themes of connection and unity”. It was airdropped to the digital wallets of existing Coca-Cola collectible owners on July 30th. The lucky recipients can now “share a second Friendship Day collectible with a friend to build the brand’s community of fans on the open blockchain.”
Coca-Cola also mentioned that “as the community grows, digital collectible owners will gain access to rewards and perks”. This will apparently include Coke Studio-powered experiences, gaming events, and early access to Coca-Cola Creations’ limited-edition product launches.
Coca-Cola stated that they plan to remain active in the metaverse throughout 2022, with surprises planned for Halloween (October) and International Singles Day (November).
