N3twork Studios is a blockchain game developer and publisher. The company is made up of veteran game developers who have worked for companies such as EA, Kabam, Zynga, Glu, Disney, and others. Matt Ricchetti is currently President at N3twork Studios.
Last May, N3twork Studios raised $46 million in Series A funding led by Griffin Gaming Partners. They also recently hired former Tinder chief product officer, Josh Sell, as its new chief operating officer. Josh was previously the SVP of Studios at Glu Mobile. He also served as Vice President and General Manager at King, where he ran the Farm Heroes franchise; and was GM of Mobile for NCSoft.
Legendary: Heroes Unchained is N3twork Studios first game. Described as a “play-to-own RPG game built from the ground up for blockchain”. Players get to “collect heroes to battle gods and monsters, engage in PvP, join epic GvG events, and fight in massive wars for control of Korelis”.

The Series A round was led by Griffin Gaming Partners, with additional participation from Kleiner Perkins, Galaxy Interactive, Korean Investment Partners, Floodgate, and LLL Capital.
Matt Ricchetti is President and Neil Young is Founder and CEO at N3twork Studios. They stated in a press release that the funding went towards developing and producing its first two web3 game titles, “Legendary: Heroes Unchained” and “Triumph”. Both of these have been focussing on the integration of cryptocurrency and web3 technologies in a new era for play-to-earn blockchain gaming.
