Bright Star Studios are the creators of Ember Sword. Described as a web3 open-world sandbox role-playing game inspired by MMO legends such as World of Warcraft, Runescape, and Guild Wars. Ember Sword has cartoonish and simple graphics and will offer players: Quests, Nations, PvP, PvE, Guilds, Crafting, Professions, Gear, Roleplay, Trading, and more.
Ember Sword is preparing for an open alpha playtest this month – opening on April 18th and 19th, 2023, from 10 am CEST until 23:59 CEST each day. No token or NFT ownership is required for this alpha. Players need only register an account on the Ember Sword website.
There will be a series of five quests for this alpha, each one previewing a different part of the gameplay. The quests will be an introduction to the game and include PvE combat, resource collection, crafting, puzzle solving, and a PvP arena.
Ember Sword migrated to the Immutable X system in 2022. 
Emergent Games was formed earlier last year with the aim to attract gamers through a “game-first, free-to-play, choose-to-own ecosystem”. London-based digital entertainment studio Maze Theory and crypto technology operations platform Pluto Digital cumulatively invested $7.6 million as part of the deal.
The partnership is hoping to combine blockchain expertise and immersive gaming to “form a business at the forefront of the new decentralized gaming sector” and launch a triple-A web3 game. The game studio comprises a team of digital creatives from top gaming companies, including PlayStation, Sumo Digital, and Codemasters.
The web3 triple-A massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) is called “Resurgence”. The prologue to the post-apocalyptic sci-fi MMO is called “The End” and is the first part of the game’s world-building phase. It is described as an interactive experience that introduces the setting, key characters, and politics that build the game’s intriguing story.
DC1AB was founded in 2020 and is currently developing the cross-platform game, Dominus. Dominus is a skill-based MMO strategy title, inspired by classics such as the Civilization Series and Clash of Clans, with a focus on asynchronous and synchronous multiplayer.
AMT Games was founded in 2008 and has launched more than 10 popular games with the number of installs exceeding 50 million. The studio is currently working on the global launch of its flagship project Heroes of War, a team-battle game with strategic elements and player-versus-player and player-versus-environment modes, with fast and spectacular fights. The game is set to receive several major updates, including the introduction of multiplayer mode.
Intella X was developed by the South Korean gaming firm Neowiz in partnership with Polygon. It describes itself as a next-generation gaming platform aiming to remove high entry barriers and improve user experience in web3 through features such as streamlined wallet creation and meta transactions.
The platform will reward contributors to its ecosystem, including game developers and users, through its native token and the redistribution of shares of its revenue back to the contributors through its decentralized revenue distribution protocol.
Launching in the coming months the rollout will also include Intella X’s proprietary web3 wallet, decentralized exchange, NFT marketplace, launchpad, and some games.
Its website shows several upcoming games on its roster, including an MMO, a poker game, and a slots game. It also has several projects featuring the IP from Cats and Soup, a popular mobile game.
The Sprawl’s newly minted NFTs allow for priority whitelist access to the job avatar drop in 2023. Also of note, one percent of the NFTs will be Platinum passes. These rare NFTs include exclusive access to the first home sale. Owning a home in the city gives you a permanent address and voting rights in your neighborhood.

Infinite Fleet is a sci-fi MMO strategy blockchain game. Developed by Pixelmatic Studios, the game is set in the futuristic world of the year 2150. Here players have to team up, control starships and defend their territory from alien threats. It involves several missions, such as reconnaissance, assassination, and routing, from which players can earn rewards and upgrade their levels.
Infinite Fleet has several features, including warships, fleet formation, target scanning, autofire missiles, shipyard, mining, and more. The launch of its beta version took place in July 2022.
Originally debuting as “Project Saturn” at Galaverse, the game is said to take place within the world of the re-imagined TV series that aired for four seasons from 2003–2004 on Syfy. The game is described as a 4X Strategy MMO.
4X (Explore, Expand, Exploit, Exterminate) is a subgenre of strategy-based computer and board games and includes both turn-based and real-time strategy titles. The gameplay is going to involve building an empire. Emphasis is placed upon economic and technological development, as well as a range of military and non-military routes to supremacy.
