Baldur’s Gate 3 will be coming to PC on Steam August 3rd while Playstation is releasing the game on September 6th. It was anticipated both Playstation and PC were going to release it the same day on August 31st, but the release date on both platforms have changed according to a recent announcement.
There is limited stock still available to purchase “Baldur’s Gate 3 Collector’s Edition” according to a Playstation blog and for potential Baldur’s Gate 3 players who purchased the Collector’s edition will still get the benefit of playing 72 hours early on Playstation starting September 3rd. For those who purchased “Baldur’s Gate 3 Collector’s Edition” will get emails for early access codes to play at the start of September 3rd from Playstation that comes with the game’s Deluxe Edition according to a Playstation blog.
In Oath of Peak, players “have the opportunity to explore a rich and immersive world filled with endless possibilities”. With five playable classes to choose from, players can tailor their in-game experience to suit their individual playstyles and preferences. In addition to the main quest line, players will also have access to a range of side quests and mini-games that offer a variety of challenges and rewards.
The Yeeha Games team consists of veterans from both the traditional gaming and blockchain industries. Project Red is described as an open-world, 3D social hub built in the Unreal Engine with several sub-games, including the Blood Arena. Project Red is a mafia-themed game, with plans for player ownership of land and in-game businesses, as well as competition between groups for resources.
The game runs on the MultiversX blockchain (formerly known as Elrond). Project Red is currently only available on the PC. Players can create custom game avatars based on the traits of the NFTs they own. They can also earn EGLD tokens by playing.

Card games have seen a resurgence in popularity over the last few years, with popular franchises such as Yu-Gi-Oh and World of Warcraft topping the mobile charts with games such as Hearthstone and Duel Links.
Outside of the CCG genre, Marvel Snap has also seen massive success in terms of superhero games. App Magic lists the game as the second-highest-grossing superhero game of the last year, behind only the Marvel Contest of Champions, and number three on the free charts, behind Talking Tom Hero Dash and Miami Rope Hero Spider Games.
The report attributed the decline in mobile game spending to the recession’s effect on people’s disposable income. Meanwhile, cloud gaming is poised to amass $2.4 billion from more than 30 million paying users this year. The virtual reality games market was projected to hit $2 billion in 2022 and is expected to reach 3.2 billion by 2024.

Apex Legends’ new popularity appears to have been at least partly driven by a big esports push. The game has also spiked in popularity on livestreaming platforms. In addition, the recently launched mobile version is also seeing decent success, though the stat given is “243.2 million Legends revived.”
Aside from Apex, FIFA and The Sims have proven to be some of EA’s biggest successes. The publisher reports players have logged 1.4 billion hours in The Sims 4 and 14 billion games played in FIFA. Battlefield 2042 doesn’t appear to have quite so much activity, with 117.7 million weekly missions completed.

Hawked is described as an online shooter in which teams or solo players race to collect and extract treasure from a remote island. It’s a player-versus-player-versus environment game. For the closed Alpha, the core game mode will be Hunt in which players will be scouring the island for Artifacts. However, the Artifacts are not just for scoring points, they are usable items providing in-game benefits that, once a player extracts them, are theirs to keep for future games.
The title will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
The new wireless controller features Razer HyperSpeed Wireless for low-latency, gaming-grade performance, similar to that found in Razer’s gaming mice. The Razer Wolverine V2 game controller has six programmable buttons for ultra-fast actuation with tactile feedback and an eight-way Microswitch D-Pad for articulate and precise control in fighting games. The controller also features Razer HyperTrigger for quickfire execution for mouse-like reactions in FPS games.
The Wolverine game controller costs around $250. It is available exclusively at GameStop stores and/or Razer.com.
