Nintendo’s latest Pokémon games, Scarlet and Violet, have apparently collectively sold over ten million units in their first three days on the market – at the time of reporting. Nintendo says this is the highest sale level for any game on any Nintendo platform. It is important to note that this number includes both physical and digital sales of the games.
The original versions of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are 2022 role-playing video games developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company for the Nintendo Switch. They are the first installments in the ninth generation of the Pokémon video game series and were released on 18th November 2022.
