Mobile game ‘Golf Impact’ launching on Intella X platform soon and $10M Gaming Grant Program

With over 1.5 million downloads and currently over 40K daily active users, ‘Golf Impact’ has already made a name for itself in the gaming world. And now, once again with the integration of Web3 technology, Crypto Golf Impact is coming to the Intella X platform.

Intella X recently introduced its “Web Browser Wallet” – aiming to offer the same features and services as their current mobile application but ensuring a “consistent and enjoyable experience for its users, regardless of the device they use”.

Intella X was developed by the South Korean gaming firm Neowiz in partnership with Polygon Labs. It describes itself as a next-generation gaming platform aiming to remove high entry barriers and improve user experience in web3 through features such as their new streamlined wallet creation and metaverse transactions.

The platform will reward contributors to its ecosystem, including game developers and users, through its native token and the redistribution of shares of its revenue back to the contributors through its decentralized revenue distribution protocol.

Its website shows several upcoming games including an MMO, a poker game, and a slots game. It also has several projects featuring the IP from “Cats and Soup” – a popular mobile game.

Intella X recently raised $12 million ahead of its launch on Polygon. The investors included: Polygon, Animoca Brands, Magic Eden, Planetarium, Big Brain Holdings, Crit Ventures, JoyCity, Pearl Abyss, XL Games, Wemix, and Global Coin Research.

The Intella X “Web Browser Wallet” is aiming to offer the same features and services as their current mobile application but ensuring a “consistent and enjoyable experience for its users, regardless of the device they use”. By making the wallet accessible across various platforms, Intella X says it is reinforcing its “commitment to delivering advanced, reliable, and user-friendly services that promote Web3 mass adoption.”

MetaKing Studios Chooses Polygon For Launch of Web3 Midieval Strategy Game: Blocklords

MetaKing Studios is partnering with Polygon Labs for the launch of Blocklords, its upcoming medieval strategy game. MetaKing Studios raised $15 million last year for Blocklords. The funding came from Makers Fund, Bitkraft Ventures and Animoca Brands. David Johansson is Blocklords’ CEO says they are planning to launch the game later this year.

Blocklords is described as a strategy game similar to Age of Empires or Crusader Kings. Players begin as characters of varying social backgrounds and build their fortunes via war with their neighbors or from collecting taxes.

At the time of reporting the game apparently already has 265,000 users registered to play.

4:33 Creative Lab reveals Delabs a new Web3-focused venture in partnership with Polygon Labs.

Delabs will focus on developing and publishing blockchain-native games on the Polygon blockchain ecosystem. Joonmo Kwon, chairman of 4:33 Creative Lab and CEO of Delabs. He is the former CEO of Nexon. Delabs apparently currently have three games under development — a racing game, an RPG survival game, and an anime-style game.

Delabs parent company, 4:33 has raised more than $100 million from investors such as Tencent and Line. The company said it will start minting NFTs in April this year. Their aim is to offer “exceptional graphics and immersive gameplay experiences to all players, regardless of their knowledge about NFTs, wallets, or cryptocurrencies”.

Community Gaming, Game7, and 3XP Gaming Expo reveal a partnership for an upcoming in-person event. The event is aimed at highlighting the community around blockchain games, the expo will take place from June 8th to June 9th at the Pasadena Convention Center in Pasadena, California.

The event will be headlined by a curated selection of game developers, thought leaders, and leading brands including Game7, Avalanche, Polygon Labs, Brave, XBorg, Community Gaming, Coinbase, Magic Eden, YGG, Limit Break, MoonPay, Sequence, Midnight Society, Jungle, The Bornless, Gridiron, Genopets, Planet Mojo, Phantom, SuperLayer, Nouns Esports, STEPN, Sparkadia, BR1, Undead Blocks and EV.io.

Game7 is a Web3 Gaming DAO created to accelerate the adoption of blockchain-enabled game economies, with a treasury with $500 million in capital committed by BitDAO and Forte.

Square Enix Chosen Polygon To Launch Its Dynamic Web3 Experience Symbiogenisis

Square Enix has chosen Polygon to launch its dynamic Web3 experience called Symbiogenesis. The experience is built around digital collectible art (NFTs) that are tied to a storyline that players will get to use in a virtual (turn-based) adventure. Apparently, the NFTs will evolve with each strategic move a player makes. Symbiogenesis is currently slated to launch in the spring of 2023.

Naoyuki Tamate, Symbiogenesis producer at Square Enix, stated:

“Square Enix opted to tap into Polygon’s high transaction speeds, low gas fees, and overall user-friendliness to deliver this unique experience to Web3 fans.”

Urvit Goel, vice president of global games and platform business development at Polygon Labs, responded:

“Our latest collaboration just goes to show that Web3 is decisively getting more and more traction among the world’s largest developers, proving yet again that this innovative stack of technologies and the benefits they bestow have massive potential when it comes to gaming.”

Polygon Labs and Fractal Team Up For Expansion of F Studio Towards The Polygon Blockchain Protocol

Polygon Labs and Fractal partner to expand F Studio to the Polygon blockchain protocol. Fractal’s product suite, F Studio, will be available on Polygon including its NFT launchpad, marketplace, tournaments, developer SDK, game launcher, and Sign-in with Fractal service. The functionality with Polygon is live and available in three games, with more in the coming months.

Polygon will also be making a strategic investment in Fractal, deepening the partnership and allowing the team to better serve Web3 game developers and players.
