The first web3 game to launch from BoomLand will be ‘Hunters On-Chain,’ a play-to-earn and free to play mobile game, supported by an NFT lending and borrowing marketplace.
BoomLand was founded as a web3 gaming platform, focused on publishing games in partnership with its initial content provider, BoomBit. BoomBit is thought to be one of the fastest-growing mobile gaming studios in the world, with 33 million monthly active users, 200+ games published, and over 1 billion downloads to date.
By partnering with Polygon Technology Studios, BoomLand is aiming to mitigate congestion issues, remove high gas fees, and reduce latency concerns.
Hannibal Soares, CEO of BoomLand, commented: “BoomLand is designed to evolve gaming experiences into a Web3 format that fosters a player-first economy. By building on our own dedicated chain, we’re able to abstract the complexities of blockchain while still providing the core benefits such as verifiable digital ownership, secondary markets, and Play And Earn rewards.”

Tim Stokely has said that Zoop is going to offer unique trading cards of celebrities that fans can collect, buy, sell, and trade on the open marketplace. Zoop will be gaining licenses from certain celebrities and influencers due to their partnerships with media enterprises with the aim to help brands and celebrities interact with their fans and customers in new ways on web3.
The first NFT drop on the platform will consist of 500 cards of carefully selected influencers and celebrities. These will then be sold to users via Dutch Auction. Once auctioned, subsequent drops will be dictated based on demand.
The COO of Polygon Technology Studios, Michael Blank, stated: “We’re delighted to be working with the Zoop team as they build out their platform on Polygon. Zoop aligns with our mission to bring web3 technologies to a much broader demographic, and allowing fans to connect to their favorite celebrities via Polygon is another step towards this goal.”
