Mysten Labs is the web3 infrastructure company and initial contributor to the Sui Layer 1 blockchain. They have just partnered with Arrivant – the game developer and publisher creating Project Eluüne: StarGarden, on Sui. Project Eluüne: StarGarden is described as a team-based, social ‘auto-battler’ built on Unreal Engine 5. In the game, players form a tribe of up to 40, will get to build their village and compete with other StarGardens to heal a shattered world.

Arrivant’s CEO is Cedric Gamelin. The rest of the team includes leadership talent from Epic Games, EA, Sega, Kabam, Wargaming, and Zynga. Founded in 2021, Arrivant organically built a community of over 30,000 members and just recently revealed their first playable tech demo of Project Eluüne: StarGarden at GCD.

The Project Eluüne: Aurahma Free Mint completely sold out in their Whitelist sale in 1 minute. The new game studio Arrivant is behind the upcoming Project Eluüne: StarGarden – launching on Polygon. Arrivant was founded in early 2020 by Cedric Gamelin, Meghan McWilliams, and Ramin Shokiradze. The Arrivant team is made up of AAA devs coming from Epic Games, EA, Sega, Kabam, and Zynga.

The game studio recently announced a raise of $5 million dollars in seed funding at a valuation of $35 million. C2 Ventures led the round, with participation from Polygon, 6th Man, Lightspeed, and other notable investors. 

Project Eluüne will apparently allow players to recruit, craft, train, upgrade and merge creatures in a fantasy world made up of floating islands named “StarGardens”. The gameplay is designed around forming tribes and will also feature Soulbound non-fungible tokens (NFTs). 

Arrivant CEO Cedric Gamelin stated in a press release: “We believe Polygon is building an environment well-suited to welcome the next generation of gamers into the space. While we are planning to become a cross-chain project serving players wherever they want to play, we are quite confident many of them will be choosing to play on Polygon.”
