Messari announced the news at its annual Mainnet conference in New York City this week. They noted the new capital will be used to expand its team and develop two new products – Protocol Metrics and Data Apps.
Messari co-founder and CEO, Ryan Selkis stated: “This new funding will help us grow our team, expand internationally, and invest in new data offerings and tools that complete our market-leading product suite.”
Messari also raised $21 million in a seed round back in August 2021. That round was led by hedge fund billionaire Steve Cohen’s Point72 Ventures. The round was raised at a post-money valuation of $100 million, according to a report previously covered by RE3W and GFPs.
