The web3 MMORPG Legends of Elumia public game build is now complete and will be playable this week.

Legends of Elumia (Elumia for short) is a next-generation Massively Multiplayer Online RPG (MMORPG) where players can immerse themselves in gameplay zones, engage in multiplayer adventures, quests, and player battles with in-game enemies and against other real-time players. Ambrus Studio Just Started Partnership With Immutable X for MOBA Game

Immutable X and Ambrus Studio have just announced a new partnership “to streamline the next 10M players into web3”. This comes just a month after the Paris Hilton x E4C: Final Salvation NFT collaboration and Ambrus Studio’s $65 million dollar valuation was debuted.

The most recent funding round was led by Spartan Group and M13. With the participation of CVP NLH, 6th Man Ventures, Axia8, Krypital, Red Building Capital, Cobo, Bas1s Ventures, and other investors. Paris Hilton also participated, stating on Twitter that she hopes to help create a sustainable game ecology with Ambrus Studio.

Founded in December 2021 by Johnson Yeh, former CEO of Riot Games Asia Pacific, Ambrus Studio’s goal is to create a free-to-play eSports-based game that has a sustainable metaverse ecosystem.

Ambrus Studio’s first game, E4C: Final Salvation, is set to become the first mobile MOBA game in the web3 game field to incorporate eSports into its gameplay.

With a vision of “Good Games for Good Cause,” Ambrus Studio hopes to not only create a good game but also one that can help positively influence today’s environmental condition through the power of games.

Jorge Schnura’s Company Unlockd Has Announced $4.4 Million Seed Funding Round

Unlockd is described as a protocol that allows users to borrow against their NFTs. They have just announced a $4.4 million seed funding round led by Blockchain Capital. The funding will apparently be used for product and development, cross-chain expansion, and a tier 1 auditor to ensure protocol security and marketing.

Sfermion, Spartan Group, and Play Ventures were also among those that participated in the round. Other investors included IDEO CoLab, Bitscale, Sanctor Capital, Eden Ventures, Caballeros Capital, Emfarsis, Crypto Plaza, Yield Guild Games (YGG), YGG SEA, BreederDAO, BlockchainSPACE, and angel investors such as YGG founder Gabby Dizon.

Unlockd’s pooled liquidity model allows NFT holders to borrow against their NFTs while still being able to use them. Founded earlier this year by the esports club MAD Lions founder Jorge Schnura. The eight-strong team at Unlockd already has a beta version on a testnet and its protocol is undergoing auditing. It will launch the UI for the testnet in September and launch on the mainnet in October, 2022.
