Founded in 2020 by Robbie Singh, Andrea Garella and Steven Meilleur, Omeda Studios is a London-based game studio that builds community-driven games. Its first title is Predecessor, a third-person action shooter MOBA that is currently in development for PC and console. As a studio that believes in building community first, Predecessor has already generated an engaged audience of more than 35,000 fans on Discord and over 100,000 signups prior to its release.
Omeda Studios just raised $20 million which they have stated will go towards building out their upcoming game – Predecessor. The venture capital group Haveli Investments led the round. This round of funding follows a $2.2 million seed round back in March of 2021. With the latest round of funding, Omeda plans to launch their new game, Predecessor, into early access by the end of 2022.
