Animoca Brands’ famous subsidiary The Sandbox announced last month the listing of its native token $SAND on Coinbase. The $SAND token is a utility token and in-game currency for The Sandbox.
Coinbase is said to be one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the United States by trading volume. The crypto exchange platform was established in 2012 and is apparently used by approximately 98 million verified individuals, 13,000 institutions, and 230,000 ecosystem partners in over 100 countries.
The Sandbox has just made two major announcements. The first is support for Coinbase Wallet integration for its users. The support of Coinbase Wallet’s features will hopefully give individuals more wallet options to connect, buy, sell and store assets as part of The Sandbox metaverse and web3 gaming ecosystem.
The second announcement is the successful migration of its smart contract on Polygon Layer 2. The deployment and bridge of their $LAND and $SAND tokens will hopefully help develop a cheaper and overall greener ecosystem with more features.
